The CSS Alabama was a warship propeller built in 1862 in Liverpool by John Laird and Co, for confédération.Il was probably the most famous ship in the civil war amêricaine.Sous the direction of Captain Raphael Semmes, he undertook many actions of war in the North Atlantic and also in the waters of the Indian west where he captured many enemy ships providing heavy losses to the merchant marine of the Union.
