In 1925 Kalinin made a series of single-engined aircraft characterized by having a quasi-elliptical wing that made his OKB famous in the USSR.
In 1930 he designed a gigantic transport aircraft the K-7 which has seating capacity of 60 or 20 tonnes of cargo.
The K-7 design caused attention from the Ministry
Scale : 1:144
The 1:144 scale is mainly used for large aircraft models (airliners, bombers, etc.).
A plane in the 1:144 scale is 144 times smaller than the actual aircraft.
For example, if the plane is 60 m long, then the model will measure 1 foot and 5 inches / 41.66 cm in length (6000/144 = 41.66).

To build a plastic model airplane, you need the following tools:
– a cutter or cutting pliers
– and model glue.
You can also paint the model with a brush (acrylic or enamel paint).
The model consists of different parts to cut and assemble.
Construction time will vary depending on the number of parts.
